Something About Us
Sojourner For Truth and Ilumi Black are artists, rappers, songwriters, and realists from Memphis, Tennessee. Our inspiration began in high school when we noticed we had a passion for music. We were once part of the devil's army, but now we have faith in Yeshua the Messiah (Jesus Christ). Once we realize that we can use music to communicate our thoughts and emotions, we start creating music to share our experiences and perspectives on life, drawing from both our observations and those of others. We aim to bring enlightenment in the darkness while sojourning on this earth for truth. We have released multiple songs that are available for listening. Additionally, we have created a merch store and produced new music, which I hope will minister, inspire, and help you on your path through life.
